10 hour behind the wheel

Built for teens who have already completed a qualifying driver education course or hold a California instructional permit. The 10-hour program includes 1-on-1 instruction with a certified AAA instructor and extends well beyond the fundamentals — addressing the skills new drivers need most before getting behind the wheel on their own.

The 10 hour program includes the following which are not covered in the 6 hour program.
  • 2 dedicated lesson hours focused entirely on Freeway Driving instruction
  • Challenging Driving Conditions (i.e. Sunset driving, Low visibility, Low traction, Traffic)
  • Anti-lock braking system (ABS) instruction
