Complete a 6-hour package first

These lessons are for students who have completed an AAA Driving School behind-the-wheel package of at least 6 hours. Adult students start with an evaluation, so an instructor can assess their driving skills.

1 to 10 hours

Skill Builder

For students who need additional training.

  • Focused time on the specific skills your student needs to improve.
  • Master more complex skills, adverse conditions and longer drives.
  • Choose anywhere from 1 to 10 hours.

Drive Test Review

A pre-drive-test review at your AAA Driving School office.

  • 1 hour with an AAA instructor before the DMV drive test.
  • Reviews the core driving skills needed for the behind-the-wheel exam.
  • Starts and ends at the AAA Driving School location.

Freeway Prep

For students who need additional training on the freeway.

  • 2 hours of freeway instruction with an AAA instructor.
  • As much freeway driving experience as the lesson allows.
  • Sold in two-hour blocks: add more than one for extra freeway time.

50-Hour Practice Package

For students who want extra hours to practice with an AAA instructor.

  • 50 hours of behind-the-wheel practice with an AAA instructor.
  • The DMV requires 50 hours of practice to earn a graduated driver license (GDL).
